Once a week, the boys of Wildwood leave camp to go on an adventure. As an outdoor summer camp we want them to discover the beauty of Maine and enjoy its many natural wonders. That is why there are no trips to the shopping malls. Instead, groups might go hiking, canoeing or rafting. Some groups will hit the beach to catch some rays and play football or ball in the hole (old Wildwood tradition). There are also trips to natural and man made water slides and amusement parks. Our older campers take extended trips to Boston, Bar Harbor, Quebec and Montreal as well as Northern Maine for whitewater rafting.
