What a Busy Day

The sun was shining and the boys were busy! A full slate of activities was complimented by an exciting inter-camp schedule. After flag pole and french toast with sausage plus fruit, yogurt and cereal for breakfast, everyone went down to the bunks to clean before morning activities.

Senior campers participated in pickle ball, tennis, soccer, fishing, baseball, basketball and arts and crafts. We hosted two 12U football tournaments today and the boys were great! One of the teams made it to the championship, but lost to a tough opponent. The Seniors were busy with two soccer matches during the day. The won their first and lost in PKs in the second. Junior campers were busy with basketball, soccer, archery, swimming, arts and crafts, tennis and baseball. The absolute highlight of the day, however, was the performance at the world famous 10u steal the bacon tournament. This year, the boys brought home the bacon! What an exciting win! Congrats to everyone who represented Wildwood today! We had chicken parm sandwiches plus chips, veggies and salad for lunch followed by rest hour.

For dinner, we enjoyed bbq ribs and chicken. After some group activities, the Seniors played a handball game under the lights against a neighboring camp. All of the boys came to cheer on their camp leaders and it resulted in an exciting 30-22 victory! A wonderful day of activities and fun competition. See you tomorrow!
