Rainy Sunday

As you know, Sundays are a little different at Camp Wildwood. It’s the only day of the week that we do not blow reveille. Instead, we turn on SportsCenter up at the lodge (today is was the Wimbledon final!) and open a buffet breakfast from 8:30 to 9:15. Today we had eggs, pastries and sausage plus fruit, yogurt and cereal for breakfast. Then everyone cleaned their bunks for Sunday Super Inspection (worth two points!).

It was a wet one today, but we made the best of it. The 13U and 15U hoops teams had practices in the morning in the gym while all of junior camp topped off last night with a showing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. Today was also Brother/Sister/Cousin Day at Pinecliffe, Fernwood, Walden and Mataponi. The boys were there for lunch and an afternoon hang. After steak sandwiches for lunch following by rest hour, the group swapped. Junior campers had tennis, dodgeball, hoops and futsal in the gym while Senior camp watched a movie.

For dinner, we enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs with string beans, and breadsticks. BIG day of activities and inter-camp on tap for tomorrow. Have a great night!
