Battling the rain

It was a wet one here in Maine, but it didn’t stop us from having a lot of fun. The day started with french toast and bacon plus cereal, fruit and oatmeal. Afterwards, everyone went down to bunk to clean up and get ready for a rainy day schedule. Senior campers did an extra cleaning as they prepare to leave tomorrow morning for white water rafting and Portland. The Cedar Pines had arts and crafts and ping pong while the Oaks and Sycamores played in the gym. After meatball subs for lunch and rest hour, Senior campers played in the gym and caught a movie in the lodge, Cedar Pine and Hemlocks played minute to win it with T and the Oaks and Sycamores played tennis in the gym. We also send two 12U soccer teams and a 15U football team to other camps for some wet inter-camp. But the highlight of the day was the first ever ice hockey inter-camp. The boys won a thrilling game 6-4 over at Bridgton Academy.

For dinner, we enjoyed grilled chicken with vegetable rice and fries. For evening activity, Senior camp continued to prep for their trips and junior campers caught a movie in the lodge. Sun on the horizon!
