Summer Dance Jam

Sorry for the late night! It was a busy day and a big night. The Seniors spent their morning watching the sun rise at the top of Mount Washington and spent the rest of the day getting down. They were back at camp by about 2:45. Everyone else woke up to reveille followed by ball scores and announcements. It was a fun day for Wildwood as we hosted the Wildwood Invitational Tennis Tournament and a 13U baseball tournament. We also we welcomed two female camps for our tennis tournament. Fernwood faced off against Pinecliffe and then we had some fun mixed doubles matches. That was going on all day at camp. After waffles and bacon, plus cereal, fruit and oatmeal, everyone went down to bunk to clean up for the day.

For anyone not participating in tennis to baseball, there was a mix of great activities like basketball, ski, sailing, soccer, hockey, ping pong, climbing and archery. The golf plus boys also got out for the afternoon for a round at Bridgton Highlands. For lunch we had turkey wraps and chips plus veggies and celery.

Tonight was the first of two big dances at Camp Wildwood. We hosted the 14s from eleven other camps. And yes! The boys got to see their sisters. Everyone else played a mix of camp games. Busy busy day of away inter-camps tomorrow. We’ll fill you in then.
