Bounty

It was another busy busy day at Camp Wildwood capped off by the Maine camps event of the summer. The day started at the flagpole for announcements and ball scores. Then after pancakes, sausage, plus cereal, fruit and oatmeal, everyone went down to bunk to clean up for the day.

Right away, our 11u, 13u and 15u tennis teams left for an all day tournament. They returned with TWO champions as Ethan M. and Leo Z. each won their bracket. Back at camp, the morning was filled with team practices as well as activities like arts and crafts, lacrosse, archery, climbing, BMX, tennis, swimming and tennis baseball. For lunch we had a fan favorite chicken patties and chips plus veggies and celery. We had a successful afternoon as we played only road games. There were two 10u hoops teams, a 12u hockey sweep and a 14u soccer tournament.

Tonight was the big event of the summer for the Seniors. Also known as “Bounty,” we played host to teh Seniors from thirteen other camps. Everyone else played a mix of camp games. Another busy day tomorrow because a chill Sunday.
