The Sorting Hat Speaks!

It was another great day at Camp Wildwood and a number of boys participated in competitions against neighboring camps. Our 12U and 15U started both their days with 3 on 3 basketball championships! Here at camp, the day started at the flagpole for announcements. Then after pancakes and bacon plus cereal, fruit and oatmeal, everyone went down to bunk to clean up for the day.

The day was filled with activities like arts and crafts, volleyball, ping pong archery, handball, low ropes, climbing, BMX, tennis, swimming and wiffleball. There were two 11U baseball games, one at camp and one away. Both teams were victorious. Our 13U soccer team rounded out the day with a big win too! The Sycamores finished their day with campfire practice.

After a delicious pizza dinner, the Sequoias hosted the ladies from Walden. Down at the campfire, a familiar song started to play…could it be? The Sorting Ceremony! The beginning of the 2023 House Cup began with the sorting of our new campers and staff plus a Harry Potter trivia contest. BIG Saturday on tap!
