Mixing It Up

Wednesdays are normally trip day here at Camp Wildwood. We had plans to hit the beach, but the weather did not cooperate so we put that one on hold for next week. But our Scheduling Czar T.O. was ready to change up the schedule to give the boys of Wildwood another amazing day! A full camp meeting at the flag pole was followed up by donuts and eggs plus fruit, yogurt and cereal. From there, everyone went down to the bunks to clean before morning activities.

Cedar Pines and Hemlocks spent their morning on the tennis courts, at arts and crafts, playing pickle ball and working on their music skills. Oaks and Sycamores participated in a field day, Sequoias and Maples caught a movie in the lodge and the Seniors got a morning on the ski boats. We had trip lunch w/chips, veggies and cookies followed by rest hour. We flipped everything in the afternoon. The CPs and Hemlocks thought we were sending them on a hike, but we surprised them with a trip to the Magic Lantern movie theater in town. Oaks and Sycamores watched a movie in the lodge and then played pickle ball and took a quick dip in the rain. Sequoias and Maples participated in a field day and the Senior escaped from camp for a movie.

Every Wedneday for dinner we have a big BBQ with burgers, dogs, chicken, salad and chips plus watermelon for dessert! Evening activity was a mix of classic games like steal the bacon, capture the flag, hunger games, and more. See you tomorrow!
