Sycamores and Sequoias off on big adventures!

It was another sunny day here at Camp Wildwood and today we sent off a couple groups on some iconic trips. A full camp meeting at the flag pole was followed up by french toast and sausage plus fruit, yogurt and cereal. From there, everyone went down to the bunks to clean before morning activities. After breakfast the Sycamores headed off to Bar Harbor. Lunch on the road followed by setting up camp led to cooking dinner over the fire and a trip to the world famous Great Maine Lumberjack Show. We also bid farewell to the Sequoias as they hopped on the bus to Boston. After checking in at BU, they caught a tour of the TD Garden followed by dinner at Fire and Ice and a stroll on Newbury Street.

Back at camp, senior campers participated in football, arts and crafts, frisbee golf, baseball, high ropes, golf, tennis, swimming and soccer. In Junior Camp, the boys participated in soccer, tennis, ski, sailing, arts and crafts, climbing, football and golf. We had po’ boys plus fries with veggies and salad for lunch followed by rest hour.

For dinner, we enjoyed Taco Tuesday! Evening activity consisted of CP capture the flag, a Hemlock vs Oak football challenge (rescheduled from last night) and Maple/Senior ping pong tournament. TRIP DAY tomorrow!
