The Invitational

It was a perfect Maine day. Cool at night and in the early morning and then sunny all day long. The Maples spent their last day in Burlington and the Seniors spent their second full day in Montreal. It was lazy Sunday morning back at camp and we had eggs and pastries plus fruit and cereal for breakfast with ESPN on at the lodge. From there, everyone went down to the bunks to clean before morning activities.

In the morning, junior campers participated in archery, baseball and tennis, soccer, arts and crafts, climbing and golf. Senior campers were busy with tennis, basketball, pickle ball and sailing. At around 11am, we welcomed ladies from camps nearby for our annual brother/sister/cousin day. They swam, played tennis, showed off camp and had lunch together. We had mac n’ cheese and corn dogs plus veggies and salad for lunch followed by rest hour. In the afternoon, the Cedar Pines and Hemlocks participated in the 3rd annual invitational. Congratulations to the Red Kings!

For dinner, we enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs with breadsticks and salad. The invitational wrapped up during an epic evening activity. Others got to watch or play ultimate frisbee, tennis baseball and Hunger Games.
