The Break!

It was another sunny day here at camp and as we know, Wednesdays are trip day. A full camp meeting at the flag pole was followed up by eggs and donuts plus fruit, yogurt and cereal. From there, everyone went down to the bunks to clean before morning activities.

Everyone loaded up on the buses and they took off to Portland. But just as they reached the local high school, they were stopped by two police vehicles that were blocking the road. They were forced to pull into the parking lot. The officers boarded the buses and removed three staff members wanted to questioning. The buses were instructed to return to camp. But once they got to camp, they realized what was happening. First, a basketball showdown between Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. But that was interrupted by MJ, the GOAT! From there, everyone made their way to the lodge for a battle of the bands, Bon Jovi v. Guns N Roses. But before a winner was announced, NSYNC, Backstreet Boys and Boyz II Men showed up to crash the party. Down to the water! Once there, the boys saw Bowser holding Peach hostage on the octagon. Never fear! Mario and Luigi are here! They battled Bowser and returned the Color War Cup to Wildwood. But not before Sonic and Tails swooped in and stole it! To the shack they went as the other seniors came down to battle. Louis had to break it up! We can’t have this kind of violence at Camp Wildwood! We must settle this on the fields, courts, rinks and more. It is COLOR WAR!!!! Blue 80s vs. Gray 90s. An incredible first day of events! Click below for teams.
