Sycamore Sunrise

Busy Morning

It was another beautiful day here Camp Wildwood and the morning schedule was jam packed! After ball scores at flag pole, we all enjoyed a nice breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, fruit and cereal. After that, everyone made their way down to the bunks to clean before morning activities. There were no intercamps scheduled today so we had a ton of picks and fun games for everyone to choose from. Boys enjoyed a mix of swimming, tennis, BMX, baseball, guitar, archery, basketball, ultimate frisbee, waterski, sailing, handball, photography and golf. The Sycamores spent their second day in Bar Harbor. Last night they went to the Great Maine Lumberjack Show and this morning they woke up at 4am and drove to Acadia National Park and were among the first people in the U.S. to see the sunrise.

Jr Camp Movie Time

After mac n’ cheese, corn dogs and veggies for lunch, the boys took a rest hour from 1pm to 2pm. After that, the Cedar Pines, Hemlocks and Oaks took a ride into town to visit the historic Magic Lantern movie theater to catch a private showing. Back at camp, senior campers stayed busy at baseball, tennis, swimming, archery, golf, waterski and pickleball. After evening flag pole, dinner was, of course, Taco Tuesday! For evening activity, groups enjoyed newcomb, rugby, tennis baseball and crosbee. Another great trip day on tap tomorrow! See you then!
