Big Day

Intercamps and Picks

It was another sunny day here Camp Wildwood and the boys made the most of it! After ball scores at flag pole, we all enjoyed a nice breakfast of eggs, bacon, fruit and cereal. After that, everyone made their way down to the bunks to clean before morning activities. Right away, we sent a 12U group to Winaukee in NH for tennis, football and hoops. They returned undefeated! Standouts were Leo Z., Sam M., James R. and Chase R. Back at camp, the 10s from Winaukee came over to play games all day. All of the Hemlocks got a chance to play in multiple tennis matches in the morning. Other boys at camp had a mix of activities including guitar, climbing, soccer, hoops, swimming, tennis, BMX, archery and football. The Seniors spent their final full day in Vermont before returning tomorrow afternoon.

Finishing Strong

After grilled cheese, veggie chili, chips and veggies for lunch, the boys took a rest hour from 1pm to 2pm. The Hemlocks continued their hang out with Winaukee, playing them in basketball and soccer. Wildwood won both games and it truly was a team effort! Activities around camp included photography, arts and crafts, tennis, swimming, waterski, sailing, low ropes, baseball and lacrosse. But the excitement of the day happened off campus. We also hosted a 13U handball game vs. BSC and sent a 13U soccer team over to them. The Maples and Cedar Pines spent the entire day doing activities together and dipped out of camp for last period! After evening flag pole, we had beef fajitas, potatoes and veggies for dinner. For evening activity, each group did something a little different like capture the flag, GaGa, steal the bacon and home run derby. See you tomorrow!
