Tennis and Swimming are two lifelong sports that we consider essential to the growth and development of every Camp Wildwood boy. The Red Cross swim program drives our Waterfront instruction. Swimming lessons include essential elements of the five major strokes as well as learning rescue skills and water safety. Campers gain confidence through steady exposure and hands on instruction from the best summer staff in Maine.

On our 11 clay and hard courts, our tennis director creates developmentally appropriate lessons for boys of all ages and abilities. Our coaches are nationally ranked college athletes, with a passion for tennis and teaching. Boys have the opportunity to fine tune their skills through group lessons focusing on stroke instruction, footwork, mini-games and match play.

More individualized one-on-one private lessons are an available option with the Camp Wildwood Tennis Academy. These fast moving lessons cover stroke production and analysis, movement and skill drills, plus conditioning and footwork - creating a life-long love of tennis.
